Opus 4.6, Agent Manager Fixes, and Code Reviewer updates
Welcome back to the weekly product roundup! This week, Opus 4.6 lands across the platform, Agent Manager gets YOLO mode and inline renaming, Code Reviews gets a loading UX boost, and we pick up a handful of new models and providers.
VS Code Extension
Opus 4.6 with Adaptive Thinking
Anthropic’s new flagship model is live in Kilo. Opus 4.6 introduces adaptive thinking, which dynamically scales reasoning effort based on problem complexity instead of applying a fixed budget to every task. Simple questions get fast answers; hard multi-step problems get deeper reasoning chains. Select it from the model picker in any workspace. Read our full breakdown here.
Agent Manager: YOLO Mode & Session Rename
Agent Manager now has a YOLO mode toggle right in the new agent form, so you can enable auto-approval of tools before kicking off a session. Active YOLO sessions show a ⚡ indicator in the header and sidebar so you always know which agents are running autonomously. You can also rename sessions inline now by clicking the session title.
Batch Delete in Task History
You can now use a favorited-task checkbox to batch delete items in task history, making cleanup faster when you’ve accumulated a lot of sessions.
Image Preservation on Message Edits
Fixed a bug where attached images were silently dropped when editing a message that had a checkpoint. Images now persist through edits in both checkpoint and non-checkpoint paths.
React Compiler Integration
A React Compiler integration has been added under the hood to improve UI responsiveness across the extension.
Auto-Execute Improvement
Minor improvement to auto-execute commands with input redirection, making shell command handling more reliable.
